Knox Financial Hires Industry Leaders in Property Management, Finance, and Marketing
Expanded team to focus on scaling fintech company’s frictionless solution for turning homes into investment properties
April 2, 2019 — Knox Financial, a fintech company that is making investment property ownership simple, today announced that it has expanded its management team with a number of new hires, including vice president of finance, director of property management, director of digital and data strategy, and brand advisor.

Knox Financial’s new hires include:
- Monica Poirier, Vice President of Finance—Monica brings to Knox more than two decades of experience in the banking and financial services industries, with a focus on architecting and applying technology to enhance business processes and reduce costs. Poirier previously served as SVP of finance and reporting at Berkshire Bank, senior director of finance at Fidelity Investments, and senior business analyst at Putnam
- Daniel Rhault, Director of Property Management—Rhault began his career leading property management efforts for some of Boston’s most well-respected realtors and property management companies, including Dolben Company, Brigham Circle Realty, and Waterstone Properties Group. He has spent the last decade growing his own property management company, Rhault Properties.
- Jeff Durso, Director of Digital and Data Strategy—Jeff Durso is an accomplished technology entrepreneur and marketer, with a proven track record of scaling companies across industries. Previous roles included co-founder and CEO of DestinationWeddings.com, which was ranked as high as #140 on the Inc. 500 list; President of Native Brain, a math education app that was ranked as high as #2 in the Education section of the Apple app store; and CEO of IT Consultancy OEC, which was acquired by C-bridge.
- Marc Karasu, Brand Advisor—As an advisor to Knox, Karasu brings more than two decades of experience leading marketing and creative efforts for global
fintechbrands. Previous roles included vice president of marketing for Betterment, CMO of Clarity Money, CMO of Manilla, and interim CMO of Ellevest. Karasu also served as VP of for HotJobs.com, which was acquired by Yahoo! for $400M.
